Robert Bordelon, an EESC Ph.D. student, and his advisor, Dr. Jorge Villa, are co-authors in a paper recently published in Remote Sensing describing the application of a vegetation classification method based on satellite imagery.

Their work goes beyond demonstrating how its application can help reduce uncertainty in predicting greenhouse gas emissions from coastal wetlands.
